Defender Jam 2017 at Monachyle Mhor

The Venue

With spectacular countryside all around, Monachyle Mhor was the perfect venue for such an event. I visited Monachyle Mhor for Mhor Festival in May this year however my more recent visit was for a festival with a difference. Defender Jam still had all the great food, stalls, bar in the barn and even a bouncy castle however this time the primary focus was on Land Rover Defenders and, being a Defender fan and owner, it was not to be missed.

There was a superb selection of vehicles on display and even the weather proved to be on our side- remaining dry and sunny throughout.

Traffic

We did not encounter busy roads however if you were lucky enough to be in a queue you could count on the fact that it was going to be the good looking traffic jam.

Enough of the text

This is not intended to be a review of the event as such but simply an area to share some of the images taken on the day.

I hope you enjoy and thanks for visiting...

The 4x4 Hire (Scotland) team and vehicles. Yes, it is a bit of an advert which I would not normally do and received no remuneration for doing so however they are worth mentioning as I have had many dealings with them in the past and they are highly recommended.

It would not be a proper Land Rover post without a photograph of a chocolate lab. Meet Harley, who also enjoyed the day.

It goes to show that Defenders are great fun for everyone.
